Restorative Yoga is a practice that honors the inherent nature within each of us to rest, restore, and reset ourselves.
Restorative Yoga provides you the opportunity to relieve deep fatigue physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It includes comfortable and well supported asanas (Yoga postures) leading you to rejuvenating rest, deep
stillness, and relaxation. The intention is to experience deep quiet and stillness supporting the body in releasing tension, stress, and lingering efforts. You might think easier said than done; however, that is where the support is key.
During a session, with my assistance and suggestions, you position your body with the support of props (blankets, bolsters/cushions, sandbags, chairs) in variations of asanas (yoga postures) all based on your physical and energetic needs. During a session you may experience 3 – 4 postures anywhere from 2-3 minutes or up to 20 minutes.
